End deportation of 'large numbers' of Haitians, Archbishop Coakley urges President Trump (USCCB)

This request follows a June Supreme Court ruling that granted the Trump administration the authority to end temporary protected status for Haitians and Syrians. This status had previously allowed Haitians to live in the United States following the 2010 earthquake.
