Giuseppe Muolo discusses the challenges facing minors in Italy who become orphans after their mothers are killed. These children often lose both parents if the father is the perpetrator of the crime.

While laws exist to protect these secondary victims, current regulations contain gaps and available resources are not distributed evenly across the country.
