Father publishes book on Catholic history

Father Blaine Burkey has self-published 'The Cumberland Mission', a 316-page archival study of the Catholic Church's efforts in Western Maryland. The book covers the period from 1778 to 1853. Father Burkey drew on decades of archival research.
