Father Forgive - “Love one another as I have loved you”

Mgr Daniel McHugh, the coordinator for ethnic chaplaincies and Eastern Catholic Churches in the Archdiocese of Birmingham, released a reflection for the 24th week of the year titled Father Forgive. The reflection focuses on the theme of forgiveness through the lens of the Gospel and the upcoming 25th anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks on September 11.

The reflection draws its title from the phrase Father Forgive used in Coventry Cathedral during the Blitz in 1940. To accompany the theme, the Burning Bush vlog provides a 10 minute period for prayer and reflection. This video includes scripture, music, images, a homily, and adoration to help people move toward personal prayer and action.
