Hospital celebra cem anos do lançamento da pedra fundamental do prédio que deu início a um complexo hospitalar de mais de 45 mil m² na Tijuca

Hospital São Francisco na Providência de Deus celebrated 100 years since the laying of the foundation stone for its original building in the Tijuca neighborhood. The hospital, located on Rua Conde de Bonfim, was founded by the Venerable Ordem Terceira de São Francisco da Penitência.

The original structure served as the starting point for a hospital complex that now covers more than 45,000 m². The Diocese of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro notes that the facility is one of the oldest and largest hospitals in Rio de Janeiro.
