African Liturgists reject folklorization of inculturation

African Liturgists met in Dar es Salaam to discuss liturgical inculturation. They emphasized the need for a rigorous understanding of inculturation, warning against adding elements that obscure the mystery. The congress saw 112 participants from 11 African countries.
