In festa e in preghiera, Genazzano accoglie Papa Leone

Pope Leo XIV visited the Sanctuary of the Madre del Buon Consiglio in Genazzano for his second visit as Pope. During the visit, the Pope presented a golden rose to the Madonna and unveiled a fresco depicting him kneeling before the Virgin.

The visit included a liturgy inside the Basilica followed by a new prayer to the Virgin. After the service, the Pope met privately with the confratelli at a nearby convent, where they introduced him to the novices.
