The Diocese of Aversa expressed grief following the death of Professor Stefano Di Foggia, honoring his long service to the local Church and society.

Di Foggia taught literature for 35 years at the Giovanni XXIII school in Sant’Antimo, where he worked to turn classrooms into spaces for peace, inclusion, and civic education. He also served the diocesan social ministry, notably helping organize a historic march from Orta di Atella to Caivano on October 4, 2013, which Bishop Angelo Spinillo noted was intended to awaken the consciences of citizens regarding the protection of life.

The diocese thanked Di Foggia for his efforts to address modern social questions through pastoral work and his dedication to serving humanity.
