Monseigneur David sends 50 catechists on mission

Monseigneur David sent 50 catechists and religious instruction teachers on mission following a diocesan gathering at the Collège-Lycée FANB on September 5. The event served as a return day for those teaching the faith within the Archdiocese of Monaco.

Lucile Catrou, a leader of the Anuncio movement for the Marseille-Provence region, led a training session for the participants. The training focused on how catechists can engage children and young people, break the ice, and combine listening with personal testimony to ensure their message is heard. After a communal lunch and group activities, the day concluded with prayer in the college chapel and a formal sending out of the participants by the archbishop.

The next diocesan event for these groups is the Fête du Caté, scheduled for Saturday, November 21, at the Auditorium Rainier III.
