Knights, sculptor team up to restore former Columbus statue

The Knights of Columbus and a sculptor have restored a historic Christopher Columbus statue that had fallen into disrepair and been removed from public view. The restored statue has been moved to a church in Longport.

The restoration process included making significant repairs and recreating parts of the statue that were missing. The Knights of Columbus supported and funded the overhaul to give the monument a new life at the parish.
