Father Wiesław Dawidowski, OSA, and evangelist Karol Sobczyk stated that the Church must develop a culture of hospitality and openness to evangelize large cities effectively. Speaking at a scientific conference held during the 26th Day of the Pope, they argued that the Church cannot be afraid of otherness.

The meeting addressed the role of the disciple-missionary, changes in religiousness, pastoral care for foreigners, and new evangelization.
