A group of 215 victims and relatives of victims of spiritual abuse in France has sent a formal letter to Pope Leo XIV. The group represents individuals who belong or have historical ties to 37 different Catholic communities across the country.

The group sent the document via registered mail directly to the Vatican Secretariat of State. In the letter, the victims and their families are calling for the Pope to take drastic measures to address spiritual abuse within the Church.
