Nigerian Archbishop Akubeze to be laid to rest

The Catholic Archdiocese of Benin City in Nigeria has announced liturgical celebrations to honor the late Archbishop Augustine Obiora Akubeze. His Funeral Mass and interment are scheduled for August 13. Akubeze served as President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria from 2018 to 2022.
