In brief

The INIRR provides specific support to people who suffered sexual violence within the Church during their childhood, focusing on the psychological trauma and its various effects. According to a report by KTO, the organization addresses the relational, psychological, physical, professional, and academic consequences of these experiences.

Trained case managers conduct interviews to assess these impacts. The members of the INIRR college then use anonymized summaries from these interviews to decide the amount of financial compensation for victims.

This report is part of a five-part series produced by KTO to document the work of the INIRR. The collaboration includes testimonies from victims and a documentary titled "inirr, 2021-2026 - Une démarche inédite de reconnaissance et de réparation," as well as an interview with the president, Marie Derain de Vaucresson, following her mandate.
