Leading Canadian, Mexican, US bishops hold fraternal meeting (USCCB)

Presidents of the Canadian and Mexican bishops' conferences met with the vice president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and two other bishops in Cuernavaca, Mexico. According to a USCCB statement dated September 4, the leaders met to share their experiences, listen to one another, and find ways to collaborate on the Church's mission across North America.

The bishops discussed migration and human mobility, the dignity of people in the age of artificial intelligence, and evangelization. The group also explored ways for the Churches in Mexico, the United States, and Canada to work together pastorally.
