Pope Leo XIV invited people to entrust everything emerging in humanity to Mary during a Mass at the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Bom Conselho in Genazzano.

During his homily, the Pope noted that while the Church celebrates the birth of the woman called to be the Mother of God, she was born simply as a girl, much like the daughters and granddaughters held in people's arms. He asked that the celebration of her birth helps increase peace within everyone.
