Leo XIV célèbre la messe à Genazzano

Pope Leo XIV celebrated Mass on Monday afternoon at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Genazzano. The sanctuary is run by the Augustinian religious order.

During his homily, the Pope spoke about the silent but essential presence of Mary. He encouraged people to ask Mary for her Good Counsel to help them welcome the divine Word. He also noted that, like Mary, people are destined to be made in the image of the Son. The Mass took place on the eve of the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
