Les médaillons des papes à Notre-Dame : un nouveau portrait à l’effigie de Léon XIV

A new carved medallion depicting Pope Leo XIV has been added to the chapter room of Notre-Dame de Paris. The portrait was placed there a few days before the Pope's scheduled visit to France in September.

Since 1887, the collection at Notre-Dame de Paris has housed 258 cameos representing all popes since Saint Peter.
