The Archdiocese of Valencia will celebrate a thanksgiving Mass at the cathedral on September 27 to honor a group of martyrs.

The event commemorates the 25th anniversary of the beatification of these martyrs by Pope Saint John Paul II. The group consisted of many individuals who died for Christ during religious persecution in Spain during the 20th century. The anniversary of their beatification occurred this past March.
