Diocese of Gubbio holds final meeting of Memoria Futura project

The Diocese of Gubbio will hold the final meeting of the Memoria Futura project on Monday, September 14, in Cantiano. The event will take place at 18:00 on the grounds of the Collegiata di San Giovanni Battista. The project is supported by the Fondo di Beneficenza di Intesa Sanpaolo.

Architect Alessandro Bonci, director of works and representative of the IDAO studio, will present the status of restoration for the Collegiata di San Giovanni Battista and other local construction sites alongside designers Elisa Pascolini and Daniele Fabbretti. This update connects the recovery of local heritage to the broader reconstruction of Cantiano following the 2022 flood.

The meeting will also present the results of the Memoria Futura project, which involved residents, associations, and young people through workshops, walks, and intergenerational meetings. The year-long work focused on flood memories, social spaces, and community participation.
