The Diocese of Acireale will observe Missionary October 2026 to help baptized members rediscover their missionary vocation and prepare for the 100th World Mission Day on Sunday, October 18.

The diocese has scheduled various events throughout the month, including testimonies, a prayer vigil, and a missionary concert. Father Sciacca encouraged the faithful to have the courage to announce the Gospel through their lives.
