The Healthcare Ministry of the Diocese of Sosnowiec is inviting healthcare workers to a formative meeting titled "A Bridge Instead of a Barrier" on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The event will take place at St. Florian Parish in Sosnowiec.

The evening begins with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 19:15, followed by a lecture in the parish hall at 20:00. Danuta Chwirut-Cichoń, a psychologist, psychotherapist, psycho-oncologist, psychotraumatologist, and family mediator from the St. Brother Albert Homo Homini Hospice in Jaworzno, will lead the session.

The meeting focuses on medical communication techniques that build understanding. The discussion will address how to speak and listen to patients who require a sense of security, understanding, and human presence alongside their medical treatment.
