New Norcia Studies Day to feature engaging anniversary program

The Benedictine community of New Norcia will hold its New Norcia Studies Day on Friday, October 2, 2026, to mark the 30th anniversary of the event. The community moved the program from its usual Saturday schedule to a Friday to allow librarians, archivists, and other eligible attendees to use the event for professional development. This change follows the merger of the archives and library departments, which resulted in the traditional professional development Library Day being held only on alternate years.

The anniversary program includes a review by translator Judy McGuinness of the second published volume of the letters of Santos Salvado, which is the first volume chronologically.
