New York City Police and Fire Chaplains Reflect on 25 years since 9/11

Monsignor Jamie Gigantiello, a chaplain for the New York City Fire Department and former liaison for the New York Police Department, reflected on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Gigantiello recalled receiving a phone call informing him that a plane had hit the World Trade Center while he was preparing for Mass on the morning of the attacks. He noted that thousands of people were involved in the events that followed.
