Matteo Bruni, the director of the Holy See Press Office, will hold a briefing on Friday, September 18, 2026, to explain the schedule for Pope Leo XIV’s upcoming trip to France. The briefing, which begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy See Press Office, will also cover the Pope's visit to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) headquarters. The apostolic journey is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 28, 2026.

Journalists and media operators can attend the briefing in person or remotely. Those wishing to attend in person must apply through the Holy See Press Office online accreditation system at least 24 hours before the event. Remote participants must apply through the same system no later than two hours before the briefing begins.

Media members admitted for remote participation will receive a link to a virtual platform where they can ask questions. Those approved for in-person attendance will receive confirmation through the online accreditation system.
