Nuncio: Beatitudes are ‘self-portrait of Jesus,’ allowing Christians to see what he values

Archbishop Gabriele G. Caccia told students, faculty, and administrators that the Beatitudes serve as a self-portrait of Jesus that shows Christians what he values. He spoke during a Mass on Sept. 3 to mark the start of the academic year at The Catholic University of America in Washington.
