The Saint Joseph Franciscan Province in Romania is organizing a pilgrimage of the relics of Saint Francis of Assisi throughout the Archdiocese of Bucharest. Archbishop Aurel Percă has blessed the event, which coincides with the Franciscan Centenary marking 800 years since the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.

The pilgrimage schedule began in August 2026.
