The Diocese of Milan will hold its first diocesan assembly of the year on Saturday, September 19, at the Santa Maria Nascente e Beato Giovanni Mazzucconi parish.

Sister Antonia Franzini, a collaborator for diocesan pastoral ministry, said the assembly intends to reaffirm the missionary vocation of every baptized person. The event comes during the 200th anniversary of the birth of Blessed Giovanni Mazzucconi and marks 100 years since the establishment of World Mission Sunday.
