Priests from the parish of Nuestra Señora de los are holding a pilgrimage to follow the footsteps of Blessed Elías del Socorro Nieves. Nieves was a Mexican martyr from the time of the Cristera Resistance.

The pilgrimage visits the cave where Nieves spent the last 14 months of his life in hiding to celebrate the sacraments. Local parishioners remember him with affection at that location.
