Pizzaballa: in Terra Santa la mitezza prevalga contro la logica delle armi

Jerusalem Patriarch Pizzaballa said that gentleness should prevail over the logic of weapons in the Holy Land. Speaking to Vatican media during a conference organized by the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints about new martyrs of the 21st century, Pizzaballa discussed the daily struggles of Christian communities living through war.

Pizzaballa noted that while much of the current environment promotes division, the Church must work to seek unity. He addressed the identity of the Church in that region and the difficulties faced by local communities.
