Pope Leo XIV received a cultural presentation from representatives of Veracruz at St. Peter's Square on Wednesday, September 16.

The Nematatlín group from the Universidad Veracruzana performed traditional jarochos music before the start of the General Audience. During the event, representatives from the state presented the Pope with contemporary art and textiles from the ancestral Olmeca tradition of the region.
