Pope to preside over assembly of Diocese of Rome (Diocesi di Roma (Italian))

Pope Leo XIV will preside over the annual assembly of the Diocese of Rome on the evening of September 18 at the Lateran Basilica.

The event will officially open the new pastoral year, according to Cardinal Baldassare Reina, the vicar general for the Diocese of Rome and archpriest of the Lateran Basilica. Each parish community is invited to send representatives to the assembly to reflect the diversity of the diocese.
