PRESENTATE A ROMA LE CELEBRAZIONI PER LA FESTA DI SAN FRANCESCO D’ASSISI

Organizers in Rome have presented the schedule for the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of Italy. This year's celebrations mark the eighth centenary of his death and will feature new traditions.

The celebrations will include a pilgrimage to the site of the Transito and an offering of oil at the tomb of St. Francis. Unlike previous years, these events will not be led by a single Italian region but will instead involve the entire world in an ideal sense.
