Franciscan members from the dioceses of Rabat and Tangier met in Casablanca on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for their annual gathering.

The Franciscan family will now prepare for the upcoming Jubilee by offering a ready-to-use prayer vigil to every parish for October 3, the feast of the transitus of St. Francis. This resource allows individual parishes to organize their own vigils and serves as a way to begin the diocesan pastoral year with prayer on the following day.

On Sunday, October 4, the diocese will also provide a specific prayer intention centered on St. Francis for all parishes to use during their local celebrations of the saint.
