San Matteo 2026 | Omaggio floreale della Città di Salerno

The City of Salerno will present a traditional floral tribute to its patron saint, Matthew the Apostle and Evangelist, on Friday, September 11, at 20:00. The event will take place at Piazza Flavio Gioia and marks the official start of the celebrations for San Matteo 2026.

Archbishop Andrea will preside over the ceremony alongside civil and military authorities. The Diocese of Salerno–Campagna–Acerno has invited all the faithful to attend.
