The Diocese of Sololá–Chimaltenango shared a reflection on the life of Saint Zachariah to encourage hope among the faithful.

The diocese noted that the history of Zachariah and Elizabeth demonstrates that nothing is impossible for God. Zachariah served as a priest of the 8th class, one of the 24 groups established by David to manage weekly service rotations in the temple.
