Philippines Bishops celebrate Season of Creation

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines has invited all ecclesial communities to celebrate the Day of Creation on the first Sunday of September. The celebration is part of a journey that highlights the link between environmental protection, the rights of indigenous peoples and social justice. Cardinal Pablo Virgilio David stressed the need for an “authentic ecological conversion”.
