Sister Mary Beth Goldsmith

Sister Mary Beth Goldsmith grew up on a farm near Earlville, Iowa, as the daughter of Jim and Bertha Goldsmith. She is the second youngest of eight children.

Goldsmith attended St. Joseph School in Earlville and Beckman High School in Dyersville. She noted that the Dubuque Franciscans taught her at Beckman High School, and their example inspired her.
