Society of the Divine Word Novices in Angola Urged to Embrace Perseverance and Joy in their Vocation

Bishop Chindekasse advised the novices not to rely solely on the initial enthusiasm common at the start of religious life. He stated that a vocation requires a lasting commitment that remains steady over time, especially when missionary work becomes demanding. He encouraged the young missionaries to view their first vows as a serious responsibility that requires fidelity and availability.
