Bishop Nyodho calls for tougher laws against drug trafficking

Bishop Stephen Nyodho Ador Majwok of the Catholic Diocese of Malakal has urged authorities in South Sudan’s Upper Nile State to declare a stronger legal fight against drug trafficking. He warned that the growing circulation and use of drugs could destroy the future of the state’s young population. He appealed to state legislators to introduce and enforce laws criminalizing drug-related offences.
