SPECIAL REPORT: Chosen to be living images of the Saviour, Archbishop Costelloe tells Salvatorians

Archbishop Timothy Costelloe spoke to approximately 200 people during a Mass at St Simon Peter Catholic Church in Ocean Reef on Tuesday, September 8, to mark several anniversaries for the Salvatorians.

The Mass celebrated three milestones for the Society of the Divine Saviour: the order's 145th year, 65 years of ministry in Australia, and 25 years of pastoral care at the Ocean Reef Parish. The gathering also observed the 108th anniversary of the death of the order's founder, Blessed Francis Mary of the Cross Jordan.

During the service, Archbishop Costelloe described the commission to become living images of Jesus Christ as an enormous privilege.
