Sri Lanka convicts over Easter attacks

A court in Colombo sentenced two former high-ranking government officials to death for failing to prevent the 2019 Easter attacks. The former police chief and ex-defense secretary were found guilty of ignoring intelligence warnings. Two churches and hotels were targeted.
