St. Eugene School Gym Restored After Flooding

St. Eugene School principal Rebecca Jones, Father Jonathon Schmeckel, and the school mascot, Eugene the Panther, cut a ribbon to celebrate the reopening of the school gym.

The restoration follows flooding in August 2025 that destroyed the lower level of the school. The damage left students without access to a gym or an art room during the school year. Students gathered for the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the repairs.
