St. John Bosco Catholic School celebrates 25 years

St. John Bosco Catholic School in Phoenix is beginning a year of celebrations to mark its 25th anniversary. The school community plans to hold various events on campus throughout the year to reflect on its history and prepare for the next 25 years.

The anniversary activities include a ceremonial first pitch at Chase Field on Sept. 11 during the 4th Annual Catholic Night, which will be thrown by three students. Principal Jamie Bescak said the school has worked toward excellence in academics, faith, service, and leadership since its founding. Bescak noted that faith served as the foundation for the school and will continue to guide the community in the future.
