Father Brent Bowman shares Eucharistic experience

Father Brent Bowman released a statement describing a private spiritual experience he had while celebrating Mass on Monday, September 14. The experience occurred at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Hopkins during the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

Bowman stated the experience took place while he was praying the Eucharistic prayer over the bread and wine. Students, faculty, and staff from Chesterton Academy, along with parishioners, were present for the Mass.

The priest said he is sharing his experience for God's glory and to correct misinformation circulating online through a recording of the Mass.
