Pope Leo XIV sends telegram to Chief Rabbi of Rome

Pope Leo XIV sent a telegram to Chief Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni to offer greetings for the Jewish festivals of Rosh Ha-Shanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot.

The Holy See Press Office reported that the Pope extended his wishes to the Chief Rabbi and the Jewish community of Rome. He expressed hope that the holidays would bring blessings, joy, and peace.

The Pope also expressed the esteem of the Church and asked for growth in mutual friendship in Rome and throughout the world.
