Bishop Michael Olson names Texas parish after St. Matthew Ayariga

Bishop Michael Olson of the Diocese of Fort Worth has announced the opening of a new parish in Arlington, Texas, named after St. Matthew Ayariga, a Ghanaian martyr. The parish will be the first in the world named after Ayariga and will serve the Ghanaian community in north Texas. Ayariga was one of 21 Christian migrant workers kidnapped and beheaded by ISIS in Libya in 2015.
