The Diocese of Hà Tinh established Mỹ Hòa Parish during a thanksgiving Mass held on the afternoon of September 15, 2026. The new parish was formed from the Trà Sơn and Đồng Xuân communities, which previously belonged to Tân Mỹ Parish in the Bình Chính district.

The Trà Sơn community will serve as the headquarters for the new parish.
