Ghana Catholic Bishops’ President Demands Church’s Inclusion in National Education Policy

The President of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference expressed concern about the exclusion of the Catholic Church from key decisions concerning education in Ghana. Bishop Matthew Gyamfi said the Church has been excluded from the Ghana Education Service Council. He called on the government to reconsider the removal of ecclesiastical representation from the Council.
