Father Brent Bowman weeps at altar

Bowman, who serves as the chaplain at Chesterton Academy, was celebrating Mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in Hopkins, Minnesota, when the experience occurred.

In a statement, Bowman described the event as a private spiritual experience. He clarified that the occurrence was not a Eucharistic miracle as defined by the Church. While a video of the moment spread on social media, Bowman characterized the event as a personal encounter during the consecration.
